BodyTom™: Portable Full Body Multi-Slice CT Scanner
The BodyTom™ is a portable, full body, 32 slice CT scanner that boasts an impressive 85 cm gantry and 60 cm field of view (FOV). The BodyTom™ can interface with PACS, HIS/RIS, and surgical navigation systems. The BodyTom™ comes standard with an internal drive system that allows a single operator to move the scanner anywhere it needs to go. The intuitive variable-speed control bar allows for easy navigation in and out of elevators, over doorway thresholds, and on any type of floor or carpet, similar to portable chest x-ray systems. Its unique capabilities provide high quality CT images wherever needed, including the OR, Trauma Bay, ED, ICU, Radiology Department, Radiosurgery, and Interventional Suite. The WorkStation The BodyTom™ comes with a Portable Imaging Station with a 3D advanced visualization software package allowing for 2D, 3D and MPR viewing. The workstation produces DICOM 3.1 compliant images and with the modality worklist module, allows for seamless integration with PACS systems. With its wireless communication capability, the BodyTom™ stands ready to interface into the modern hospital information technology age. |
